It’s still great but man is it skewed in favor of Spongebob, there are 6 playable characters and 3 of them are from Spongebob, it’s especially noticeable with the forced character selection in each mission where typically two of the four are from that show, hell Timmy Turner is only available in one mission. I think either unanimously or close enough for the difference to be negligible, people would say Spongebob is the best Nickelodeon show, though that doesn’t mean it should always be in the spotlight, at the least so we can maybe find a love for some of the other shows/characters.

The Gamecube-Wii era with these Nickelodeon crossover games were amazing! Who also remembers playing Super Brawl on the old Nickelodeon website? This is what made the 2000s remarkable. Hopefully we get more of these games in the 2020s.

I sure wish I had gotten this game back in 2006. I would’ve loved playing as these iconic Nicktoons characters on this foreboding tropical island setting in a fight against an inter-dimensional villain. But I guess watching playthroughs like this may be good enough for me. While I highly doubt a remake of this game will come out (let alone with the exact same cast of playable characters), I will always count myself grateful for having discovered this back in late 2018. 🙂
