Designing Delicious Dishes! | Chef – Part 2 – Restaurant Tycoon Game (Early Access)

Chef returns as we attempt to turn our little restaurant, which we’ve named The Geek Pantry, into a successful and profitable business!

With our newly discovered ingredients points, we invest in some exciting new ingredients for us to use in our recipes, thrilling things such as duck, spring onion and asparagus.

These new ingredients are used to create delicious new dishes for our customers to enjoy, each with a fantastic name, but although we add the new meals AND raise prices throughout the menu we’re still struggling to make a profit (although the budget screen doesn’t help much…)

Also, duck cheesecake would be terrible. Fact.

NOTE: This is the Early Access version of the game.

  3. For information for others watching… In the 'making a recipe' area… each row from top to bottom uses fewer amounts of each ingredient. So, the top row uses the most of each of those ingredients, the next row uses less, and the bottom row uses the least. Also, the top row has to have the ingredients put into the circles. They show a little picture as a suggestion for what you should be using there but you still have to add them.

  4. When you have higher expenses over revenue (profit) your weekly budget will get lower and lower where you now have negatives because your paying for ingredients in things too as well as everything else.

  5. I got the game couple days ago & I am in America… but uh ye, I am still trying to figure it out lul about the pricing.

  6. From what I'm seeing, the top slots are supposed to be for the main ingredients. However, I'm not sure beyond that.

  7. Where I live my parents usually pay about $50 USD for a good quality meal with me.
By good quality I mean steak, potatoes, and hot cheese bread made the fresh ingredients from Brazil. Oh also the steak has to be kind off bloody.

  8. Hello, I think in the making a dish screen while selecting ingredients, the two different types of circles you put the ingredients into, are divided into two parts the first one for example I chooses fish so I add other ingredients to cook the fish with but the second part should be what I will serve that fish with for example garlic rice and yeah it's more like try and error I like this game thanx for your effort

  9. Update from the dev!

So many sugfestions! I added everything to our list, as soon as we're done with bug we'll share a roadmap and include in it as many suggestions as possible!

  10. Because of a bug active policies don't appear in the last screen! We are going to address the issues soon, in the meantime their cost can be seen in the Policies Panel! Thank you for your videos, we will soon get rid of the issues you found, some are already solved!

  11. Penge, I have to say it. As much as I'm enjoying this game, it's only because you're playing it but it has too much that is preventing you from playing how you should. I think you have to freez this series until they sort they're issues out.

  12. Also, a thing that this game needs is a maneging option for working hours.
You should be able to change that as you desire.
Implementing shifts so that you can choose to let the better ppl work whne there's more work.

  13. I might have missed it in the video, but is there any form of insight in what sells well / not so well? Also, I want to dine at your place, these prices are amazing.

  14. 7$ USD for a steak (here in New York) is cheap. A decent steak should be 13$ to 18$ but it wouldn't be to filling (to me). 22$ and higher would be a better selection.
